PHOENIQS Joins NEXUR Technology Cluster and Establishes Spanish Subsidiary to Strengthen Cross-Border Innovation
PHOENIQS, a leading provider of sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure, today announced its official entry into the NEXUR Technology Cluster, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of its European ecosystem.
As part of its long-term commitment to the region, PHOENIQS has also established a local subsidiary, PHOENIQS Hesperia, based in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. This step underlines the strategic importance of the Andalusian innovation ecosystem and reinforces PHOENIQS’ dedication to building a strong local presence.
The partnership was formally reinforced during a visit of a Spanish delegation to Basel, Switzerland, where representatives of the NEXUR cluster and stakeholders met with PHOENIQS leadership to sign and celebrate the collaboration. The visit underscores the growing importance of cross-border cooperation in building resilient, sovereign, and innovation-driven technology ecosystems in Europe.

Strengthening a Strategic European Technology Alliance
NEXUR, based in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia, has rapidly positioned itself as a key technology hub, bringing together companies, institutions, and innovation stakeholders to accelerate digital transformation and regional competitiveness. The cluster focuses on fostering collaboration, attracting investment, and driving projects in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, and digital innovation.
By joining NEXUR, PHOENIQS contributes its expertise in sovereign cloud infrastructure, AI model serving, and confidential computing. Capabilities that are increasingly in demand across regulated industries and public sector environments.
As a result of this alliance with NEXUR and its members, PHOENIQS has established its headquarters at the Innovation Center (CITED) at 75 Avenida del Transporte in Jerez de la Frontera, facilitated by the agreement between CITED and the City Council to encourage technology companies to set up operations in the city and the surrounding province.
